Long Hair German Shepherd
If you need a long hair german shepherd, you may contact breed rescues for an available dog.
These dogs are easy to recognize. They are strong, well muscled and deep-bodied, giving the impression of fitness and power. Their chest is deep and capacious; the ribs are well sprung; the neck is long and muscular. The withers should be higher than the back; the topline is sloping. The muzzle of these dogs is long and massive, with noble and cleanly chiseled outlines. Almond-shaped eyes should be as dark as possible. Pointed ears are carried erect. The general expression on the muzzle should be keen and intelligent.

Long Hair German Shepherd -
rescues, dog
The breed has three coat types: normal stock hair, long stock hair, and long hair. The length of the coat is also different. The coat is naturally double. Thus, there is an undercoat and the outer coat that is very thick. Usually, a normal stock hair dog has an outer coat that should be as thick as possible. On the body the coat is longer than on the head and ears. It is also short on the front of the legs, the feet and the toes but longer and thicker on the neck.
